What does Riverside believe?

At Riverside, folks often hear the phrase, “People matter to God.”  They matter to us, too. The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.—Luke 19:10. We humbly recognize that we are among those Christ came to seek and save.

Jesus went beyond a mere rescue mission; he transformed lives. “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” he taught his followers to pray. Jesus came to redeem this broken world, and it is on this core belief that Riverside has built its mission statement: ...where people are transformed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and equipped to pursue Christian Maturity. Romans 12:2 Ephesians 4:12-13

With this vision to see Christ’s redemptive purposes accomplished in the world, Riverside is committed to carrying on Christ’s mission by reaching out to those who are far from God, coaching those who follow Christ by equipping them for their spiritual journey, and unleashing unprecedented levels of compassion and justice into our broken world.
